Our Story

I'm Anna Ghilarducci, I grew up on this land, and as an adult, traveled and reveled in the fruit of life. After considerable persistence, I agreed to marry Milt, whom I met in 2008, and who also spent childhood on a farm, in Michigan. We moved to an off the grid ranch near Jackson, Wyoming, where we thrived off the land for three years. We delivered our daughter at home, a profound and miraculous experience that enriched our love. We baked our own bread, raised our own meat, grew vegetables, fruit and herbs, traded firewood for fresh milk which we used for yogurt and butter and of course, raised poultry and eggs! Milt became known as "bird man" for his skills and respectful relationship with the birds. The cold climate and isolated culture provided many challenges. After three hard winters in the wilderness, we decided to move back the my farm. The knowledge and experience we gained from that time is priceless to us. The decision to start our own farm business was the easiest we've ever made, and we've never looked back with regret, only gratitude and love.
